I chose to put my son in a Private Christian School

I recently decided to put my son in a Private Christian School, and I am so glad I did.

For the last couple of years I have not been happy with our public school system. Not only are the classroom’s overcrowded, but they are getting rid of any extracurricular activities, and everyday students are taught to pass standardized testing.

This was not the education I wanted for my son.

My son is bright, active and curious about the world around him and it seemed the longer he was in the public school system, the faster I saw his this light dimming inside him. His grades started to slip, he was bored throughout the day, and my child I once knew had changed..

He no longer had interested in learning, and I knew something had to change.

I decided to look at private schools in the area. I researched about their curriculum, and philosophies and decided to pull my son from the public school system and put him into a place where he was a “real person” not just a state test grade.

Yes, I now have to pay for his education, but his happiness and interest of learning again far outweigh the cost for his education. He is growing closer to God, happy and now I feel like I have my son back again.

Please don’t ever feel stuck in your child’s education. There are choices, and better options. Take some time to pray, and figure out what is best for your family.  Where there is a will, there is a way!
